Buying a Chromebook Through the Trust
You can buy a Chromebook through the Trust outright, or on a 2 or 3 year lease to buy. The process is easy: Just fill out the Expression of Interest Form and email it to Leigh Howchow OR contact Leigh directly (see Contact page). She will meet with you to sign the contract and register your purchase with Noel Leemings. You can then pick up the Chromebook. If you are buying it outright, you pay the Trust directly. If you are leasing to buy, you pay a deposit of $40 and the rest in installments.

Why Choose Chromebooks? |
After research done with the first digital classes at Kapiti College 5 years ago, the schools decided on some essential specifications for a recommended device:
Long battery life A keyboard Online quickly Easy to use 11-12" screen The device also needed to come with a warranty, insurance and a protective sleeve. While Chromebooks met those requirements and are recommended, both Colleges and some primary schools are allowing students to bring a variety of devices. Check with your school. |
Why Noel Leemings? |
We wanted a way to make the process as easy as possible for parents. Noel Leemings offered the Chromebooks at a very good price. We have arranged with them to be the pickup and dropoff point. While your contract is with the Trust, if anything goes wrong with the device, you simply take it in to Noel Leemings and they will loan you another machine while yours is fixed.
